Well there is atleast one instance where Sachin ha performed in the recent past 2003-2004 he got 37 against Pakistan (in Pakistan) and also picked up a fine catch. Pre 21st century, he also had those two Desert Storm innings ( semi finals and Finals in Sharjah) where he single handedly led India to victory. Also, not to forget the blistering 98 he made against Pak in the 2003 World Cup as also the 97 against Sri Lanka following that match.
